The Beast with Two Backs is the seventh full-length studio album by British goth rock band Inkubus Sukkubus. It contains 12 original tracks and a cover of 'Can't Get You out of My Head' by Kylie Minogue with altered lyrics that more appropriately reflect the band's aesthetics. The cover was designed by Tony McKormack, a core member of the band. The album's title refers to a British slang term for sexual intercourse: 'To make the beast with two backs'. While the first English usage of the term was in 1603, by Shakespeare in ''Othello'' (''"I am one, sir, that comes to tell you your daughter and the Moor are now making the beast with two backs"''), the French translation of the term, la bête à deux dos, dates back to at least 1532, in François Rabelais' ''Gargantua and Pantagruel'':〔(Phrases.org — Beast With Two Backs )〕 ==Track listing== All songs written by Candia Ridley and Tony McKormack, unless otherwise noted. # "Hecaté Cerridwyn" – 1:37 # "Lily Bolane" – 4:59 # "Star of Venus" – 4:53 # "Hedonistic Gene" – 5:30 # "Vampyra" – 4:59 # "The Beast with Two Backs" – 3:21 # "I Just Can't Get You Out of my Head (Kylie Minogue Cover)" (Davis, Dennis) – 5:25 # "Vampire Punk Rockers from Hell" – 4:34 # "She Is Gone" – 5:13 # "City of the Dead" – 3:44 # "Take My Lust" – 4:32 # "Erotic Angel" – 3:32 # "Jägermeister" – 4:30 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Beast with Two Backs」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
